Lovepop Pop Up Cards – as seen on Shark Tank!
I’ve been so excited to do a post on Lovepop Cards. You may have heard of them from a Shark Tank episode in December 2015. Their 3D paper sculpture cards are so much fun to open up. How amazing would it be to get one of these in the mail? Totally whimsical and unexpected. They have a range of designs for different occasions and holidays, from birthdays, to romance, to graduation, with inspiration from animals, nature, and fiction. Lovepop was founded by Wombi Rose and John Wise, who met while studying to become naval engineers. They design the cards using ship design software and make them by hand using an art form called sliceform kirigami. Prior to being on Shark Tank, where they received a $300,000 investment for a 15% stake, the business got off the ground with a Kickstarter campaign. Lovepop also makes custom cards for individuals or businesses. The company is based in Boston, but cards are available in various convenient locations and online. Shop all Lovepop cards here! See below for a video of what it looks like to open up one of their cards, and scroll down to shop some cards!
